Here you will find a mix of web sites in which my involvement ranges from design and coding from conception to completion. This also includes SEO/SEM initiatives, to high level project management achieved through strategic review and implementation of project requirements, creative direction, as well as social media and online campaign initiatives integration through hands on technical direction. These sites are comprised in HTML, PHP, Flash, and other coding languages. These works represent traditionally designed static sites, as well as dynamic sites built on various CMS systems.
4sqday.com (FourSquare Day)
Working alongside the fantastic SparkFire team, I created a number of branding and design elements working in a collaborative atmosphere heavily leveraging gitHub by creating and implementing xhtml design and css authoring in this phpCake based Four Square Day website. 4sqday is celebrated as the worlds first social media holiday, driven by the Foursquare application. Site functionality allowed users from across the world to register Foursquare “Swarm” parties.
Disney ConventionEars
A re-branding project of a micro-site, which allowed meeting planners to find specific information and pricing targeted to their needs. This site allows Walt Disney World to capture data at the entry point (passed from the e-mail distributions or other means of personalized communication), in order to measure the success of various marketing campaigns.
Disney Convention Tickets
A full featured online-resource targeted at group leaders or potential clients for Disney Professional Meeting Services and Disney Institute Client, and meeting attendees. Working along side developers and Disney brand managers, this site was developed to assist and measure metrics in targeted marketing campaigns, to provide a sales tool to Disney cast members, and to provide a resource hub for attendees.
Ohio Valley Rentals
The Upper Ohio Valley Landlords Association approached me with a problem. They had a large membership who was growing frustrated with the rising cost of listing property rentals and the inability to access their target audience directly and effectively. OhioValleyRentals.com is the solution to this problem. Built upon a php cms which provides a powerful, yet intuitive and simple to use interface, registered members are able to manage their own property lists and reach a much larger audience than before. In fact, members received phone calls and emails about property rentals from out-of-state the very first day the site was live!
Insights for Meeting Planners
This is a website I created utilizing .php, .html, and flash. This site is currently used in an aggressive direct marketing campaign, in conjunction with an email deployment that I also created. This site incorporates a media player which auto plays the initial video upon load, and changes the video and supporting content by clicking the left hand navigation buttons. It also mimics a streaming effect with a content window that scrubs QuickTime videos through an .flv video. This site accepts .php code and will parse it through the URL. This allows the department to see which elements of the campaign are driving the most traffic to sales.
Plants4MyYard
Working on behalf of a client, I lead a team of designers and developers in designing, coding, and deploying the PLants4MyYard.com website. This custom e-commerce site is built on Shopify, a dynamic and popular platform. Shopify has various specific development requirements to develop on their custom ".liquid" based vision development platform. A number of "out-side-the-box" development techniques were implemented in this site in fulfill custom functionality requirements. This site launched in conjunction with an SEM campaign, targeting a localized audience. P4MY also includes custom personalized emails managed in a hosted email marketing software platform in order to measure various campaign metrics.
Mortgage Investors Corporation
Mortgage Investors Corporation is the largest V.A. Refinance company in the world. Leading a team of designers, this is a complete redesign from their previous site which was not S.E.O. friendly. This site has been launched in conjunction with a new S.E.M. campaign, of which I am providing other elements, such as entry pages and advertising pieces.
